Ali Allawala, CEO and co-founder of the Karachi Down Syndrome Program was recognized as an HBL PSL 2021 Unsung Hero. Since its inception, a total of 32 Hamaray Heroes have been awarded the title across Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.
The award promotes the achievements of notable individuals across the country whose work has positively impacted the wellbeing of others and who prove to be a source of inspiration. Ali Allawala was recognized for the work he and his wife, Farzeen Ali have done for individuals with Down syndrome through establishing the Karachi Down Syndrome Program and working towards promoting the value and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome.
