Naveed Pervez at KDSP won the Engro Foundation's 'I Am The Change (IATC)' Impact Award 2020 for the category of NGO/Industry Field Worker. The award recognized and rewarded the incredible work done by individuals across multiple sectors including doctors, healthcare workers, public sector health professionals, NGOs and industry workers, who tirelessly served the people of Pakistan against COVID-19.
Naveed’s resilience and dedication was noticed for his contributions at the front line of the KDSP COVID Relief Response Program for individuals with Down syndrome, who had faced hardships due to the pandemic. Naveed and the other winners brought perspective to the definition of change makers and leaders via this unique opportunity.
